Hi, it's Ly Vu here :)
Before moving into UX/Product Design, I earned a Bachelor of Commerce from UBC Sauder School of Business and built experience in marketing and brand management at organizations like UBC Sauder School of Business, Canada Green Building Council, and Modo.
Fast forward to 9+ years later, this mix of business, marketing, and design has shaped how I approach problems: I see design as holistic, creating seamless experiences across every customer touchpoint. My goal is always the same: design experiences that solve real user needs while advancing business objectives.
Outside of design, I’m an outdoor enthusiast — a backcountry snowboarder in the winter, and a rock climber and hiker in the summer. Living in Vietnam, Canada, and Italy (and traveling to 30+ countries) has given me a deep appreciation for how different cultures approach challenges, and taught me to adapt quickly to new environments.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me venturing into the mountains, improving my Italian, or planning my next travel. These experiences fuel my curiosity and perspective as a designer, reminding me that there’s always more than one way to see the world.
