My Story

Hi, it's Ly Vu here :)

Professional me

Before specializing in UX/Product Design, I earned a Bachelor of Commerce from UBC Sauder School of Business (#1 business program in Canada) and gained experience in marketing and brand management at UBC Sauder School of Business, Canada Green Building Council, and Modo.

Combining my business, marketing, and design background, I believe that great design is holistic, creating seamless experiences across all customer touchpoints. I’m a designer who enjoys collaborating closely with product managers from the very beginning. My goal is to solve user problems while strategically aligning with business objectives.

Personal me

Other than design being my passion, I am also an outdoor enthusiast—a backcountry snowboarder in the winter, and a rock climber and trekker in the summer. Having lived in Vietnam, Canada, and Italy, and traveled to 30+ countries, I’ve gained diverse perspectives on how different cultures operate and can easily adapt to new environments.

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me venturing into the backcountry, learning Italian, or planning my next travel destination.
